Nokia IMEI Check & Warranty Check
Enter the IMEI of a Nokia smartphone to see its warranty, where it was shipped and sold, and when and where it was activated.
Check a Nokia phone before you buy
The Nokia IMEI check shows the device name, IMEI 2, the warranty name, the warranty status and dates, the ship-to country, the sold-to country, the activation country and the activation date. These fields are taken from the manufacturer service record of Nokia phones made by HMD.
This is the easiest way to see whether a “new” Nokia was activated before, whether it comes from another market and whether the warranty still covers repairs.
What the Nokia IMEI report shows
Data comes from the Nokia (HMD) service database. A real result for a Nokia G42 looks like this:

How do I check the Nokia warranty?
Enter the IMEI on this page. The report shows the warranty name, status and the start and end dates.
Why is the warranty status not shown?
If the phone has never been activated, the warranty has not started yet, so only the shipping data is shown.
What do ship-to and sold-to country mean?
Ship-to is the country the phone was delivered to; sold-to is the market it was sold in. If they differ from yours, the phone was imported.
Does it work for old Nokia button phones?
The check covers Android smartphones made by HMD. Older feature phones may not have warranty data.
Is the Nokia IMEI check free?
Yes. The check is free and needs no registration. Guests get several free checks per day; registered accounts can raise the limit and turn off ads.
Is it safe to share my IMEI?
An IMEI identifies the device, not you. It cannot be used to unlock the phone or access your data. Do not share passwords or your account login with anyone.
